Whenever guests ask us where to go for steamed crabs around here, we always send them to Waterman’s Crabhouse in Rock Hall, Maryland. The crabs are good, and the view can’t be beat.
But truth be told, the very best place to get steamed crabs is . . . right here, at our very own Chestertown bed and breakfast! You have to be a guest at the Brampton Inn, of course, and more specifically, you have to be staying in either Mulberry or Olivia’s Cottage for 2 nights or more. But if you do, then the crab feast is free! If you’ve checked the going rate for a dozen jumbos, then you know this is a great deal. Throw in the coleslaw, cold beer (shhh!), and blueberry cobbler, and it’s pretty much the deal of the century.

Then when you’re finished, just call us, and we’ll whisk away the mess. A trip to the Eastern Shore just isn’t complete without a crab dinner, so let it be on us! Bon Appetit!
